Competition Increases for Online Medical Records by Cyrus Farivar

Two tech giants are getting into the online medical records market. Google and Microsoft are offering services that will let users store medical information on a single centralized Web-based service.

HealthVault from Microsoft - upload medical records privately. Forrester Research: most consumers don't track their records, and most doctors don't have electronic copies. Steve Case (former CEO of AOL) launched RevolutionHealth, partially for online records.
