Possible test questions will be distributed in advance of the reading assignment that they cover. Tests will then be made up by selecting from this list, except that
In contrast to essays in AGS 336, test answers in AGS 334 can (and should) be written informally. This means:
You should, however, briefly explain the meanings of technical terms to demonstrate that you understand them.
The reason for the relaxed writing standards is that tests will have some kind of time limitation. I am not able to say today (8/27/97) exactly how this will work for the two on-line quizzes.
The quizzes and exams will consist of a selection from all of the questions distributed in advance. You will normally be able to choose some of the questions, say five out of six or seven. However, if you choose a question that has multiple parts (A, B, C, etc.), you are to answer all of the parts for that question.
