Thursdays at 6 PM in Wayne County Center Computer Classroom
Last updated: 1/6/05
Thursday, January 6 at 7:15 AM: Looks as if the weather is cooperating,
and that the Final Exam will be today, 6 - 9:40 PM in the Computer
Classroom at the Wayne Country Center. I expect to be there about 5 PM for
any last-minute reviewing that you want to do. Check Agenda 15 below for
details on finishing up the work, if you are behind.
IMPORTANT!
-
The Final Exam for this class is now scheduled for Thursday January 6, 6 -
9:40 PM, in the computer classroom at the Wayne County Center (normal
day, time and place).
- If the Center is closed on Thursday (if the University is closed,
the Center is normally also closed), the Final Exam will be
the next day, Friday January 7, 6 - 9:40 PM, in the computer
classroom at the Wayne County Center (normal time and place,
different day).
- Normally, the University announces it is closed early in the
morning, and it stays closed the whole day, including evening
classes. HOWEVER, stay tuned for possible
afternoon and evening openings during this time. Also, it is
possible that the Center may stay open even if the University
closes.
- Whichever day the Final is held, I will be on hand, if possible,
from 5 - 6 PM beforehand, for last-minute review. You will also be
able to turn work in up until the beginning of the exam. Work turned
in later than that will count towards a later Change of Grade.
- If the University is closed both Thursday and Friday evenings,
stay tuned for other arrangements.
- Watch your University email for messages from me. Contact me if you have any questions or
comments.
- See the other important announcement in the separate box below.
IMPORTANT!
I had a disk crash on November 19, and lost your grade records for this
class, all the way back to the graded work that I returned to you in
class on November 3, November 11, and November 18. Therefore, turn this
graded work back in so that I can record your grades again. This
includes the Midterm. At each class and at the Final, there is a special
folder, colored orange and labeled “DISK CRASH.” Please put this graded
work in that folder, and normal work that you
are turning in the normal “IN” folder. If you are unsure exactly which
work to turn back in, better to be safe than sorry and turn in anything
that you are unsure of. If want to check which work this is, use the
online grade report, and turn in anything that you have gotten back, but
for which there is no grade on the grade report. This work can be
re-turned in at any time. You can also turn it in at the DIS office on
the second floor of the A/AB building, 5700 Cass Avenue, on campus. To
turn it in there, put all of the work in an envelope (available from
office staff if necessary) and put it in my mailbox (ask the office
staff where the mailboxes are).
