Course Sections

This web site for for Atoms and Stars, IST 2420, Section 001, CRN 23981 for the Winter 2007 semester. This course meets Monday evenings starting Monday, January 8, 2007, 6 PM to 9:40 PM. The class will normally run until the end time. The classroom is 100 Shapero Hall. See the map below.

I know this could be more convenient, but it is about half price compared to other sources we have tried.

If you are looking for a used version, a set from Fall 2006 will be the same, but versions from earlier semesters will be different.

Locations

Finding Shapero Hall can be difficult. Many WSU staff do not know where it is, and others think they know, but are wrong. Here are a description and a map:

• By Anthony Wayne Boulevard northbound, where it curves around to Palmer
• Near Law School, Education, and FAB
• Inside red square on map below

Shapero Hall looks different - it is bigger on the top than on the bottom. The picture below way overemphasizes this, but gives you an idea of what I mean.

Getting around inside Shapero Hall:

• The classroom for this course is on the first floor, Room 100. Each class will start out in this room.
• For the last 60 to 90 minutes each class, we will go to the lab room, which is Room 314 on the third floor of Shapero. Getting to Room 314:
• Take elevator to 3F (not 3R)
• Or take stairs to third floor

NOTE: Temperatures in the lab room are extremely unpredictable. Sometimes it will be hot; at other times, cold. DRESS IN LAYERS!!!
