Kitchen Remodel.
Bob and I decided to remodel our small kitchen from floor to ceiling. We thought we'd be able to finish it in about a year - now it looks like it may be two if we're lucky. We began last December (1998) and are about half way through. Everything has taken longer than we planned (of course). From the walls to the floor, we've hit time and effort overruns. It really is amazing the way people do things and you never know what they've done until you get in there. Anyway, Bob doesn't like home improvement projects, so from here on out I have to do things that I can handle alone. Bob is very methodical and practical while I'm more undisciplined and extravagant.
I was born in Highland Park, Michigan on October 19, 1947 and have lived in the Detroit Metropolitan area (pretty much) since then. I have a grown daughter, Penny, and three grandchildren, Brandy 10, Luke 4 and Reagan 2.
